Fairfield County Newborn Photographer: CT Newborn Photographer: Seb’s in Town!

Meet little Seb! He’s the little brother of one of my other little clients, Rhys! I love working with these tiny little creatures and the expressions of Seb are just a tiny hint of his big personality. It’s amazing to me how even at a few days old, Seb projected so much of his personality in the photos from the session!

I love his little smile. Looks so content with sleeping in a pail!

Happy Friday All! Stay tuned for an upcoming little girlie girl session! So fun!

Xo,

Meg

Fairfield County Newborn Photographer: Sleepy Bean Studio Welcomes You!

Welcome to my new blog! This has been a work in progress for a few months now and I am finally ready {for the most part} to ‘up and go’ with it! My name is Meg and I own Creative Image Collections, a boutique wedding photography studio based in Danbury, CT. I started my journey into weddings back in 2003 {Eeek, I feel old! Nearly 10 years ago!} and I never would have thought that my path would have led me here. Well that’s not true really, I had a vision and somewhat of a plan, but I just never knew I had a niche for photographing newborns up until a couple years ago. My wedding photography has been quite eventful and I enjoy those fully even to this day, and will continue to do so! However, a couple of years ago, when I offered to photograph a friend’s newborn daughter as a gift, I became enlightened, and for lack of a better word, obsessed, with photographing newborns.  I truly LOVE babies and children, and photographing them is even more fun because I get both my creative fix and my kid fix fulfilled all in one! Doesn’t get better than that! I often am cradling babies and feeding them, as I am very hands-on come time at the sessions. I wipe, I dry, I shooosssshhhh for hours at a time! I truly love working with these little creatures and enjoy the challenge that these sessions can bring {come newborn time, I have the patience of a saint}! The only thing that kind of stinks is none of them will ever remember me because they are too busy sleeping. Oh well! That’s the price you pay as a newborn photographer. I knew right off the bat that this adventure was definitely for me and such a refreshing change of pace from my wedding photography. To be able to balance the two has been wonderful!

To make this an official first post and announcement of Sleepy Bean Studio, I am offering the following promotion, good until my birthday {March 25, 2013}! Woohoo!  If you or anyone you know is expecting a little one soon send them to the blog so they can reserve a block of time at a really great rate!

Enjoy the day!

xo,

Meg
